The NW Fellowship of Reconciliation Meet Up Group
|
Meet other local peace-minded people to talk about nonviolent means to resolve differences. The Western Washington and Eastside Fellowships of Reconciliation (WWFOR) seeks to replace violence, war, racism and economic injustice with nonviolence, equality, peace and justice. It links and strengthens FOR members and chapters throughout Western Washington in promoting activities consistent with the national FOR statement of purpose. WWFOR helps members and chapters accomplish together what we could not accomplish alone. FOR is a faith-based, interfaith, pacifist organization which works on a variety of peace and justice issues. It is affiliated with local chapters, the national FOR and the international FOR. http://www.scn.or... for local information Reconciliation includes bringing those with opposing positiions into conversation to promote understanding and prevent violence. Fellowship includes building people to people relationships so each can see the humanity of each other. Our collective wisdom, experience and energy give us the best change to build and sustain the work that we must do.
